What is hypnotherapy?

How does hypnotherapy work?

Hypnotherapy is about relaxing into change. It’s like sweeping away any of the conscious beliefs you have held in the past and working directly with the part of you, your subconscious, where decisions are made and from which actions are guided. Because you are working directly with your subconscious,hypnotherapy is deeply effective and brings about change much more readily than talk therapy. In hypnotherapy, you go onto a journey into your own subconscious where you gain clarity and create change from within.

Self-hypnosis

This is where you take a few minutes during your day, calm your mind, and bring about change as you repeat your affirmation. It’s the easiest level of hypnotherapy to incorporate into your day and also the lightest level of hypnotherapy.

Recordings bring you into a deeper level as you go on a guided journey to change. Easy to fit into your day when convenient and experience lasting positive change.

Where we journey together. Private sessions create the quickest change as you go into the deepest relaxation and we focus on what is most impactful for you. Private sessions enable you to focus on what is an exact fit for you.

How do the sessions work?

Because we do our sessions by phone, you are able to fit it into your day more readily, and we can connect regardless of where you are in the world.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

No. Although the plot line of many Hollywood movies, you cannot get stuck in hypnosis. You simply open your eyes whenever the time feels right for you and naturally bring yourself to a different brainwave state.

How does hypnosis feel?

Most people really enjoy the feeling of being in the deeply relaxed state of hypnosis. You may feel lighter and floaty, or perhaps well-grounded and connected. Commonly, time passes very quickly during your session. It’s a highly personal experience.

Is hypnosis sleeping or being unconscious?

No, it is neither. If we are having a private session, we are talking back and forth during the session.

What if I don’t want to do something in hypnosis?

The choice of what you do or say during a session is completely yours. If you don’t want to say something out loud, you won’t. You are in control at all times. I’m a guide for you to create the best conditions for you to manifest change. You are in charge.

Will it work for me?

Because all hypnosis is ultimately self-hypnosis with your change coming from within, you need to want the change for it to occur.
